Facebook... the Ups and Downs

Is Facebook a positive or negative thing? I would like some feedback. BC i am thinking of getting one. I would like to find out from my friends what are the benefits and what is the downside. I would appreciate waht you guys have to say and I would like feedback on everything in my blog. If you agree or disagree with anything that I have to say I want to know. But right now i want to know about Facebook. The ups and downs.

    Facebook is really cool its just another way of communicating with friends and if you have long lost college buddies or babysitters or friends you can find them and stay in touch...sometimes it can get annoying if your in a conversation about nothing but i think overall it is a cool thing! :)

    yeah i agree its really fun and iv really gotten closer to some of my friends through it. but u have to be careful about becoming addicted =D but u should totally get one.

    it is really addicting, it is beneficial for communication, the only downside is that it can become a major time consumer pretty quickly

    it is alot safer than myspace as well, i call it the christain myspace, its easier to protect your eyes, in my opinion anyway
